We're back! Team Callen is on board for the upcoming ASK Fun Walk & 5K on Saturday, April 30 at 9:00 a.m. We have our team all set up and we hope you'll join us!
The ASK Fun Walk & 5K celebrates the strength and courage of local children who are battling cancer. Every dollar raised will provide children and their families with assistance, support and kindness through the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation.
The Flying Squirrels will be hosting the 11th Annual ASK Fun Walk & 5K at the Diamond on the Boulevard. Following the race, stick around for a festival featuring live music, food and activities for the kids. All 5K participants will get a free ticket for that night’s Flying Squirrels game starting at 6:05.
To register to join Team Callen, go to http://www.askwalk.org/register.asp. Click on the green "Register Now" button. On the subsequent page, be sure to click the radio button for the “Join a Team” option on the right side of the page in the "Event Related" box. The team name you want is "TeamCallen".
- Adults 18 and over: $30
- Children 6-17: $15
- Children 5 and under: FREE*
*If you would like a child under 6 years old to receive a race shirt, number and ticket to the Flying Squirrels game, please register participant as a child 6-17 years old.
If you are unable to participate in the ASK Fun Walk & 5K, you can sign up as a “sleep-in,” which means you cannot attend the race, but you can still join the team and fundraise.
